At St. John, we want to captivate and inspire kids and grownups to follow Jesus and his way of love. Our Family Faith Formation ministries feature learning, worship, friendship, serving and play.

Kids Church

Most Sundays, children will join their families in worship in the main sanctuary for about 15 minutes, then will head downstairs for Kids Church, a time were they will engage in a kid-friendly Bible story, a hands-on learning project, a related game, and/or an uplifting song. Children will then return to the sanctuary to join their grownups for Communion and the conclusion of the service.

First Friday Family Fun Night

On the first Friday of each month, families gather at St. John or Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church for an evening meal, a family project and just plain fun together.

Third Thursday Supper Club

On the third Thursday of each month, families gather for a meal, story, and some creativity from 5:00pm-6:30pm.

Vacation Bible School and other Special Events

Our churches also combine to provide an engaging, creative, and meaningful learning experience for children.
