Worship & Music is responsible for working with both music directors and pastor to plan worship and music for weekly and special festival services. The altar guild, which is part of this committee, sets up and cleans after weekly communion. They also decorate the altar and change paraments as needed. W&M meets on 3rd Monday at 6:30 pm.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

If you like to knit or crochet, this ministry is for you. Our prayer shawl group makes prayer shawls that are sent with prayers to hospitalized and homebound church members.

Peer To Prayer

Peer to Prayer offers any and all worshipers a chance to have private prayer with a trained lay person team by simply going to the designated area. After you’ve received communion, go to the left stairwell landing (at 11 a.m. service, please go to the door at right front of sanctuary). A team will greet you, ask for your request, then lift up a specific, short prayer.  When finished, return to your seat by the side aisle. This area has a small separate waiting space. The worship service will continue as usual.

Worship Assistants

Whether you’re a youth in grades 6-12 who wants to be part of our acolyte team, or an adult who would like to help as a lay reader, communion assistant or Pastor’s assistant during Sunday worship services – all help is joyfully welcomed! Or, if you’d like to join the usher/greeter team, just contact the church office, 410-859-0020.  No experience is necessary – and training is provided.
