Outreach

St John’s most important mission is to “be there” to meet the needs of the community around us - both near and far. Some of our current ministries include providing backpacks full of school supplies and backpacks of weekend food for students in need, along with hosting monthly dinners at a women’s shelter.  The Outreach crew also organizes baskets of food and gifts for families at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If this team hears of a need, they rally the support of our congregation and we do our best to share the many was we are blessed. Committee meets on 2nd Monday at 7 pm.

Fellowship Team

if there is a social event or fun family activity planned for St. John, the fellowship team is behind it. The goal of this team is to promote a sense of togetherness by sponsoring church dinners, game nights, and other socials. Fellowship team sponsors our most popular summer event… Corn hole on the Corner, which takes place on our field from 5-8 pm on the 2nd Saturday from May-October. Each Sunday between worship services, the Fellowship team offers a continental breakfast with plenty of hot fresh coffee. Many members of the congregation take time to stop, enjoy some breakfast and enjoy each other’s company.
